Rajendra Kedige: His penchant for an individualistic approach and compositional pattern sets him apart from the rest. Like his mother and sister he formed his medium more congenial to nature and whatever expressions evolving in his works have native simplicity. Rajendra doesn’t categorize his personal style in the traditional way. He works in many traditional styles, sometimes combining several styles within one work. The traditional styles he works in include, but are not limited to, naturalism, impressionism, post-impressionism, modern, art deco and contemporary, as well as others. He personally defines he style as contemporary, since he is a living artist, working in today’s mediums. Rajendra is currently working on several series of work and is the Gallery in Charge for Art Insight in Mangalore. His paintings adorn the walls of well known showrooms in Mangalore, Mumbai and Bangalore city.
